Gregory Named Mercy Health Athlete of the Month

LIMA, OH - Each month, UNOH teams up with Mercy Health to award an Athlete of the Month based on their athletic and academic performance as well as being a positive representative for UNOH and UNOH Athletics. Each month's winner will be presented with a T-Shirt from Cappy's Sportswear and a $25 gift certificate from Lock 16 Steakhouse. Nominees are presented by their respective coaches and voted on by the UNOH Athletic Training staff and Athletic Administration.

The first Athlete of the Month award of the 2024-25 school year has been given to Bailey Gregory of the volleyball program for the month of August. Over 14 matches, Gregory tallied 247 digs while averaging 4.94 digs per set. She eclipsed the 1,000 career dig plateau against Bryan on August 28 moving into the seventh place all-time. Gregory also added 17 service aces to her career total jumping her into third place in program history. 

As a three-year captain for the Racers, Gregory is a leader both on and off the court for UNOH while maintaining a 3.36 GPA in the classroom.
