Tentchou Voted Mercy Health Athlete of the Month

LIMA, OH - Each month, UNOH teams up with Mercy Health to award an Athlete of the Month based on their athletic and academic performance as well as being a positive representative for UNOH and UNOH Athletics. Each month's winner will be presented with a T-Shirt and a $25 gift certificate from Lock 16 Steakhouse. Nominees are presented by their respective coaches and voted on by the UNOH Athletic Training staff and Athletic Administration.

The first award of the year has been given to Michel Tentchou of the men's soccer program for his performances over the month of September. Tentchou played a large part in his team rolling through the month with a 6-0-1 record and one of the best conference starts in program history. He scored five goals and assisted once over the seven games including his first career hat trick against Aquinas to finish off the month. That week, the sophomore also earned his first career WHAC Offensive Player of the Week honor helping his Racers to their most dominant start to conference play in program history with a +18-goal differential. UNOH outscored their opponents 20-2 in their first three WHAC matches marking the program's best three-game stretch since 2017.
