Joyce Wins WHAC's First Pitcher of the Week Award

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced Northwestern Ohio's Michael Joyce as the first WHAC Pitcher of the Week this season.

The Racers split their only two games of the week but Joyce locked down in his first appearance of the season to help his team pick up a 6-3 win over IU-Southeast. Joyce entered the game in the fourth inning with UNOH down 2-0, but gave up just two hits over four and a third innings of work. He struck out five with no walks to earn his first win of the season.
