WHAC Names Josh Mauney Pitcher of the Week

Northwestern Ohio's Josh Mauney was named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Pitcher of the Week in the league's first award of the season on Monday.

Mauney entered his only appearance of the week in the third inning of a losing 5-2 scoreline. He worked out of a jam and went on to toss three and a third innings in relief keeping the Phoenix off the board again as the Racers rallied to win 6-5. The junior transfer walked the first batter he faced but struck out the next allowing just two hits and finishing with four strikeouts to pick up his first decision at UNOH.
