Mauney Picks up His Second Pitcher of the Week Award

For the second time this season, Northwestern Ohio's Josh Mauney has been voted the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Pitcher of the Week.

Mauney improved to 2-0 this season helping UNOH secure a four-game sweep at Georgetown this weekend. He entered in relief in the final game of the series with his team trailing 1-0 after four innings. Mauney tossed the final five innings to earn the win keeping the Tigers off the board as his offense worked their way in front for a 3-1 win. He scattered just three hits over his five frames and struck out six without allowing a walk.

Mauney has a team leading 1.86 ERA this season striking out 21 batters over 19.1 innings pitched this season.
