Elida Product Lybarger Wins First POTW Award
For the first time in his career, Brayden Lybarger has been named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Pitcher of the Week.
The Elida alum threw a complete game shutout in his only appearance of the week helping the Racers blank Lawrence Tech 11-0 on Saturday. With the win, he improved to 7-1 on the season which ties for the most wins in the WHAC this season. Lybarger allowed just two hits over his seven innings of work striking out five and walking four. He sits second in the conference this year with 59 punchouts in eleven appearances averaging 10.69 strikeouts per nine innings.
Lybarger is the third different UNOH pitcher to earn the weekly award this season which is the most in program history.
