ADRIAN, MI - UNOH (8-13, 4-9) took their first lead of the game at 6-4 just under four minutes into the game and never trailed again as the Racers pulled away from Siena Heights (5-16, 2-11) for a big 63-46 win on the road.

After falling behind 4-0 out of the gate, UNOH used a 20-6 run to take control of the game and held a 34-25 lead at the break. The Racers opened the second half where they left off in the first hitting a 18-6 run to take their largest lead of the game at 19 with eight minutes to play. The Saints couldn't establish any offensive consistancy as UNOH maintained the cushion for a 17-point win.

Hunter Bode (SR/Cincinnati, Ohio) led all scorerers with 18 points, his fourth double-digit performance in the five games and his fifth in the last seven. Bode shot 8-17 (47%) from the field while grabbing six rebounds in the game. Mohamad Kraidly (JR/Beirut, Lebanon) recorded 17 points while Biggz Johnson (SO/Lima, Ohio) added 16 for the Racers. Trevon Wells (JR/Cleveland, Ohio) finished one rebound short of double-figures while pulling down a game and career high six offensive boards.

It was the best defensive performance of the season for UNOH as they held Siena Heights to just 37% shooting from the field and an astounding 9% from outside. The Racers forced a season high 21 turnovers while committing a season low of just four. UNOH matched their season high with eleven steals racking up 16 points off turnovers to just four for the Saints. Their 46 points given up is the program's fewest since November 19, 2014 (UM-Dearborn - 44).

The Racers will try to make it three wins in-a-row when they head to #11 Indiana Tech on Saturday, January 23, for game two of a three game road trip.
