Ryan Archey Lands All-WHAC Second Team Honors

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced the 2023-24 Men's Basketball Honors Friday, naming Northwestern Ohio's Ryan Archey to Second Team All-Conference.

Archey was the sole Racer to earn an all-conference award after leading the team in scoring with 17.4 points per game. He highlight his season with 37 points against UM-Dearborn where he set a new program record with 16 made field goal attempts, breaking the previous record of 15 which stood since 2011. Archey shot 46% from the field and 36% from 3-point knocking down 82% of his free throw attempts.

KJ Smith was the team's representative on the WHAC Champions of Character Team. The Champions of Character Team is comprised of one player from each school who best represents the five core character values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship and servant leadership.
