WINONA LAKE, IN - On the second day of the Lancer Tipoff Classic, UNOH men's basketball ran out of steam in the second half against Bethel falling to the Pilots 87-79.
The Racers were hot in the first half shooting 57% as a team and holding a 46-44 lead at the break. Bethel opened the second with a 12-3 run and UNOH saw their offense cool down as the Pilots flipped the script to steal the win, 87-79.
Antonio King put up his third 20+ point outing in his first three games finishing with a game high 27 points and one rebound short of a double-double. King shot a blistering 71% in the game hitting 10-14 from the field. Malachi Black finished one point back with 26 on the night on 9-15 shooting (60%).
The Racers outshot Bethel 53% to 45% but lost the rebound battle 35-31 and turnovers 15-12.
UNOH will return home to face Miami-Middletown on Thursday, November 7 at 7:30 PM.
