LIMA, OH - UNOH men's basketball saw their five-game winning streak come to an end Wednesday night at the hands of the WHAC's top team, Indiana Tech, 90-74.
The first nine minutes went back and forth with the teams trading leads ten times with three lead changes before Indiana Tech went on a 9-0 run to take the lead for the final time. UNOH fought back with an 8-0 run of their own to cut the lead back to two but went scoreless over the final five minutes of the half as the Warriors finished with 14 straight to hold a 47-32 lead at the break. Indiana Tech continued to pull away in the second leading by as many as 24 and holding off UNOH to finish a 90-74 win
Alex Benson led the team in scoring with 19 points doing most of his work from outside the arc hitting 5-7 attempts and shooting 7-14 from the field. Antonio King added 14 points finishing one rebound short of a double-double while Caleb Champman put up twelve and eight and Ryan Archey chipped in eleven.
UNOH will try to rebound on Saturday, January 11 when they host Lourdes at 3:00 PM.
