Men's Bowling Places 6th, Kruse Individual Champ at Midwest Collegiate

ADDISON, IL - UNOH men's bowling brought home a sixth-place finish in a field of 38 teams at the Kegel-ISBPA Midwest Collegiate Classic. Two Racers placed in the top ten of 257 bowlers with Gunner Kruse taking the individual title. UNOH scored 5125 in their five team rounds with a Baker total of 3797 for an 8922 tournament total. 

 

Gunner Kruse became just the second Racer bowler to win a Tier 1 individual title (Kyle Drazil - 2022) after averaging 240.4 in the tournament. Kruse's performance was highlighted by a tournament best 290 in game two, running away from the field by 64 pins with a 1202 total.

Matthew Richards earned a seventh-place finish with a 1086 and a 217 average while Devin Flowers finished 35th with a 1003.

 

The fourth and final conference event of the regular season is up next for UNOH when they head back to Columbus for the Ohio Bowling Conference #4 on Saturday, January 20.
