UNOH Places 8th at The Players Club

YORKTOWN, IN - In a tough field at The Players Club, UNOH finished in the middle of the pack bringing home an eighth place finish out of 16 teams that included No. 12 Taylor, (RV) Marian, (RV) Indiana Wesleyan, (RV) Missouri Valley and (RV) Midway.

Luke Turner was the top finisher for the Racers picking up his second top ten finish in two tournaments this fall. Turner carded 74 and 69 in the first two rounds before finishing with a 73 in the final round for an even-par 216 for the tournament.

Guillermo Garron and Noah Honinger matched 227's with Garron going 75-82-70 and Honinger finishing 75-77-75. Frederik Voss shot 81-74-76 for a 231 and Hayden Hah rounded out the team scoring with 81-76-77=234.

Adrian Martin and Carter Schimmoeller each competed as individuals in the tournament. Adrian Martin put in rounds of 76, 80 and 73 for a 229 and Schimmoeller scored 81's in all three rounds for a 243 total.

UNOH will have a week off before they play the lone conference event of the fall at Stoatin Brae Golf Club in Augusta, Michigan on September 25-26. The WHAC Fall Preview will see one round of stroke play on September 25 to establish seeding for match play later that day. Day two will finish off match play to determine the top four teams.
