Turner Wins Final Golfer of the Week Award

Northwestern Ohio's Luke Turner has been awarded the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Men's Golfer of the Week award for the first time in his career after topping the field at the WHAC Men's Championship on Saturday.

Turner led wire-to-wire in the 54-hole tournament for his first individual medal of his career. He shot a tournament low 1-under 70 in round one carding a 75 and 74 to take the title by two strokes with 219 (+6). The first place finish earns Turner an automatic qualification to the national tournament as an individual on May 21-24 in Dalton, Georgia.
