Garron Repeats as WHAC Golfer of the Week

For the second consecutive week, Northwestern Ohio's Guillermo Garron has been named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Golfer of the Week after his second straight third-place finish.

Garron earned his fifth top five in seven events this season with an even-par 216 at the Patriot Invitational last week. The senior from Santa Cruz, Bolivia shot even in round one and 2-under in round two before ending the tournament 2-over in the final round to sit tied for third in the a field of 59 golfers. With his back-to-back third-place finishes this spring, Garron takes over the team lead with a 72.94 average this season.

It is the second consecutive weekly honor for Garron making him just the third Racer to accomplish that feat in program history and the third of his career.
