UNOH Motorsports Team Races Keysor Memorial
Friday Night Brings Strong Fifth Race of 2025
LIMA, Ohio (May 30, 2025) This past Friday night saw five UNOH drivers take on the quarter mile dirt track at Limaland for the fifth time in just one month. The Team's driver lineup carried over from last week with two Bath Masters UMP Modifieds and three Lock Sixteen Thunderstocks.
Racing the Modifieds for UNOH on Friday were Aidan Hinds in the No. 01 and Dylan Drake making his second run in the No. 11. Houston Null, Tyler Matheny and Eric Kinney drove the No. 1, No. 01 and No. 00 Thunderstocks again this weekend.
Hinds and Drake started off the night in the third Modified Heat race, with Drake in the No. 11 finishing sixth and Hinds in the No. 01 pulling off second by passing two cars over just eight laps.
In the first Thunderstocks Heat, Matheny in the No. 01 gained a position to finish fourth. It was a similar story of speed in the second Heat, with Null in the No. 1 grabbing yet another Heat win after starting second and Kinney gaining a spot to finish third.
The Thunderstocks Feature saw the UNOH drivers succeed despite adversity. Heavy rain began to impact the track during the Feature races, but Kinney and Null were able to bring home a pair of top ten finishes with the No. 00 crossing the finish line in seventh and the No. 1 in ninth. Matheny battled tire troubles but managed to score a 12th-place finish.
The Modified Feature got underway after the many sprint cars ran their races. Hinds held onto sixth for the 20-lap race, grabbing another top ten finish for the No. 01 Modified. Despite the ever-changing track conditions, Drake gained two positions after starting deep in traffic and crossed the finish line 16th in the Feature.
The next races at Limaland Motorsports Park for UNOH will be the K&L Ready Mix Clash and Ron Kahle Jr. Memorial on Friday, June 6th with gates opening at 5pm. The UMP Modifieds and Lock Sixteen Thunderstocks will be joined by the Ohio CAT GLSS Sprints for another summer night of dirt racing action.
