UNOH Motorsports Team Challenges the Competition on Meet the Drivers Night

Drivers Shine Bright, Even After Dusk: Aidan Hinds Collects Third Feature Win

LIMA, Ohio (July 18, 2025) The UNOH Motorsports Team took to the dirt at Limaland Motorsports Park last week on Friday the 18th, with the same lineup of drivers as the previous race coming back for more. The Team brought three Bath Masters UMP Modifieds and three Lock Sixteen Thunderstocks to the track, with drivers from each class battling with constantly changing track conditions. Aidan Hinds of the No. 01 Modified, impressed all by bringing back his third win of the season.

Racing the Modifieds for UNOH on Friday were Aiden Hinds in the No. 01, Eric Kinney in the No. 1, and Dylan Drake in the No. 11. Driving the Thunderstocks this weekend were Parker Derks in the No. 1, Max Stetler in the No. 01, and Paden Hines in the No. 00 respectively.

Hinds landed himself in a good position early on by being the eighth quickest car in qualifying and securing third after the Heat races. Kinney ended up eleventh in qualifying and Drake unable to finish, as radiator issues prevented it. The stock drivers maintained steady pacing with Parker Derks getting forth, Paden Hines eighth, and Max Stetler ninth in their qualifying placements.

After each class completed their Heat races, the results would have Derks starting in Pole position at the front of the field, Stetler in ninth, and Hines in tenth for the Stock cars. It would then have Kinney starting eighth, Drake starting twenty-first, and Hinds in third for the feature event.

In the Stock Feature, Derks would lead the field before falling back to forth, which would end up being his first top 5 in the No. 1 Stock car. Paden Hines, starting in tenth, would run ten laps before pulling off track having him finish in thirteenth. Stetler, who started in ninth, would battle for sixth when contact with another driver would spin him around, ending his night early and placing him in tenth overall.

In the Modified Feature, several early yellow flags led to considerably stressful racing conditions for all racing teams, however, this wouldn't deter Aidan Hinds from prevailing under pressure in finding his way past the 34X car and ending up in the front of the field and getting his third incredible win of the season. Eric Kinney was involved in two cautions where he was trapped with nowhere to go, ending up with him pulling off on lap eight of fifteen where he would then finish seventeenth. Dylan Drake, coming from twenty-first, would start the feature, but then pull in after only five laps due to more issues preventing the car from continuing, thus landing him in nineteenth.

After the race, the team celebrated on the infield with intense energy and emotion over the excitement of Hinds' third win this year. Hinds thanked his team and all who made this possible. Later, it would be discussed with the Media Team, and Hinds' alongside two of his crewmembers: Crew Chief Aaron Jesina and Car Chief Rodney "RJ" Seibles.

Seibles stated that, "This win is different from all the other ones. This was my second race as car chief on the 01 mod. We got to the track and I knew it was going to be a good day. I had a feeling it and Aiden felt good. And all my guys felt good but the night started good. We got to the feature and we were going back and forth. On what to do but we went out there as a team & we have each other backs 100 percent on the changes we made. We made the right decision and it worked for us. But I think this success comes to the people you have around and when you have good people. You can do good things and it shows."

"I want to thank coach Higgins and doctor Jarvis for putting me on the Motorsports team." Said Jesina. "I want to thank Aidan for trusting me to be his crew chief, and I want to thank the entire 01 modified crew for all of their help and hard work. We had a great night and our hard work in the shop paid off with a win. Looking forward to being back at Limaland on July 25th for the championship night!"

"It was a good bounce back from the week we had before, it gave us confidence to end out the season on a high note" said driver Hinds as a positive closure to the day at the track.

The UNOH Motorsports Team will run its next races on Friday, July 25th for Meet the Drivers Part 2 and the 28th Annual Championship Night. They will bring the same set of cars as this week back to the track. As always, gates to Limaland Motorsports Park open at 5 p.m. on race day. Make sure to follow the Team on social media for updates regarding race days, special events, and driver lineups all season long.

Congratulations once more to Aidan Hinds, the No. 01 Team, and the entirety of the UNOH Motorsports Team on their third win of the 2025 Limaland season!
