ADRIAN, MI - UNOH men's soccer began their trek through the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) with a 1-1 draw at Siena Heights on Saturday, September 23.
Both goals came early in the first half, with the Racers notching first just five minutes into the game. Bjarne Renner did the work unassisted in the 6th minute to put UNOH up out of the gate, but the Saints made four saves in the first half to keep the Racers off the board again. Siena Heights got the equalizer in the 25th minute and that's where the score would stall. All told, SHU made seven saves in the match to earn their result while UNOH outshot the Saints 13-9.
Ross Synnott (1-1-1) went the full 90 in front of goal with four saves to preserve the tie.
UNOH will wrap up a five-game road trip at Lourdes on Wednesday, September 27, with a 2:00 PM kickoff.
