LIMA, OH - UNOH came out strong and struck paydirt first, but Indiana Tech matched before halftime and bagged three second-half goals for a comfortable 4-1 win over the Racers.
It took more than 30 minutes to get the scoring started as the game played neutral early on. In the 34th minute, Jovaunn Ramos struck a missle from 30 yards out that finished top shelf giving the keeper no chance. It took less than five minutes for the Warriors to match sending the game into halftime tied 1-1.
Indiana Tech scored from the corner less than a minute into the second half to take the lead. UNOH kept battling late into the match to find an equalizer but left themselves vunerable on the backend. The Warriors took advantage blowing the game open with two goals in 64 seconds with just minutes to play.
Georgios Theodoulides (2-4-2) played the full 90 in front of net to take the loss.
UNOH will try to rebound on the road when they head to Aquinas Saturday, October 7, for a 3:00 PM kickoff against the Saints.
