Echevarria Wins Second POTW Award in Three Weeks
The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has named Northwestern Ohio's Tomas Echevarria as the Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the second time in three weeks.
Echevarria scored or assisted on six of twelve Racer goals last week bagging his second career hat trick in an 8-0 win over Concordia on Wednesday. He also added an assist in the match for a career high seven points, tying the program's second most in a single game. In a 4-1 win over Rochester on Saturday, Echevarria added two more assists giving him eight this season, the program's most since 2019. His 20 points this season moves him into fourth place all-time with 67 career points.
