Men's Soccer Ends Season with 4-1 Loss in WHAC Semifinals

GRAND RAPIDS, MI - A four-goal second half explosion for Aquinas ended the Racers' post season run in a rainy Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) semifinal night.

Storms played havoc in the first half with heavy rains and a lightening delay that broke up a scoreless 45 minutes of play. The second half brought better weather and a lot of goals with five scored between the teams in just 20 minutes of game time. The Saints took over the game with their first three coming in just over six minutes. They added one more in the 76th minute before Bjarne Renner finally got UNOH on the board in the 82nd minute. The goal meant little in the final outcome of the game with Aquinas knocking off the Racers 4-1 in the WHAC semifinals.
