Sanchez Earns WHAC Offensive POTW Award

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has named Northwestern Ohio's Natxo Sanchez the Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending August 25.

After falling on opening day Thursday, Sanchez helped his team rebound for their first win, 3-0, over Saint Xavier on Saturday. His first goal came less than five minutes into the match, heading a corner kick into the top corner before adding a second in the 19th minute and a third in the 60th. Sanchez was lethal on the pitch putting all three of his shots, including a penalty kick, into the back of the net for his first career hat trick.
