Softball: WHAC Post-Season Honors

SYLVANIA, OH - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) handed out it's All-Conference, All-Academic, All-Defensive and Champions of Character Teams for the 2022 season. UNOH was well represented earning four first-team and two second-team bids.

Carlie Hanes (SO/Antwerp, Ohio), Zoe Johnson (JR/Sugarcreek, Ohio), Tess Denning (FR/Dalton, Ohio) and Shayla Munyan (SR/Lancaster, Ohio) all picked up first-team honors. Anna Ankney (FR/Ney, Ohio) and Dani Keighley (FR/Chesterfield, Michigan) were named Second Team All-Conference.

Elysha Stapleton (SR/Mechanicsburg, Ohio) was the team's Champions of Character representative.

For the All-Academic Team, a player must be a junior or above in academic standing with a cumulative 3.25 GPA. Madison Amstutz (SO/Richwood, Ohio), Kiaunna Brown (SR/Minerva, Ohio), Ally Cumming (SR/Alvinston, Ontario), Zoe Johnson and Emily Lenke (SR/Oak Harbor, Ohio) all met these qualifications
