Game 1: UNOH 9 Bellevue 8

The Bruins took advantage of a two-out error by scoring three runs in their first at-bat. Two walks forced an early pitching change for Bellevue but that didn't slow down the Racers' offense. The Bruins added one in the top of the second but a three-run shot from Tess Denning and a Dani Keighley double scored four more for the Racers in the bottom. Bellevue continued their slow grind scoring one in the third, two in the fourth and one in the fifth while keeping UNOH off the board to tie the game at 8-8 entering the final frame. After the Racers retired the side, Alexis D'Alexander got things started in the home half with a lead off double. Four consecutive singles opened the bottom of the second getting the Lions on the board. Another single with bases loaded brought in two more and an error in right scored another putting PSNK up 4-2. Sidney Unger hit a RBI single in the fourth and Hailee Edgell did the same in the fifth to tie the game. The Racers added one more in the inning with a delayed double-steal to take the lead but an error in the bottom cost two giving the lead right back 6-5.
