Keighley Repeats as WHAC Player of the Week
For the second straight week, Northwestern Ohio's Dani Keighley has been voted the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Player of the Week. It is just the second time in program histroy that a Racer has won the award in back-to-back weeks and the first since 2016 (Macey Harder).
Keighley extended her hitting streak to seven games in a sweep of Rochester Christian on Sunday logging multiple hits in six of the last eight. She finished last week with 13 total hits with six of those going for extra bases. With two doubles, two triples and two home runs in eight games played, Keighley amassed 25 total bases for a weekly slugging percentage of 1.000 while striking out just twice in 27 plate appearances. She averaged .520 for the week while driving in a team high twelve RBI.
