Hanes Adds to Program Record with Sixth POTW Award

Senior Carlie Hanes has produced one of the most storied careers in the history of UNOH softball. During her time with the Racers, Hanes has rewritten the record book while maintaining a career ERA of 2.04. Now just four victories off the all-time wins record, Hanes has added her sixth career WHAC Pitcher of the Week award to her list of accolades tripling the most by any previous player.

Hanes put together a 3-1 record in four appearances last week including three straight complete game shutouts. In her three wins, Hanes allowed just five hits and four walks while striking out 29. Her weekly ERA finished at 1.18 dropping her season ERA to 1.81.

Hanes has tallied 58 strikeouts to just 18 walks in 13 appearances this season.
