LIMA, OH - UNOH softball began their trek through the conference schedule on Sunday sweeping their doubleheader against Rochester Christian.
In game one, Carlie Hanes (6-4) continued to perform at a high level holding the Warriors to just two hits with eight strikeouts and only one walk. The Racer offense produced at a steady rate, scoring in five of six at-bats, chipping away for a 7-0 win.
Payton Albright and Holly Alvoid each had two RBI to lead the team with Zoe Johnson and Tess Denning each recording multiple hits.
UNOH kept rolling into game two plating nine more in a 9-1 run-rule win in five. Tess Denning had a monster game going 3-3 with three RBI going solo yard and adding two doubles. Dani Keighley also cracked a solo homer and a double while Payton Albright kept her hit streak alive with a 2-3 performance driving in two. Hailee Edgell hit her second triple of the season logging two stolen bases.
Karsyn McGlothen (5-3) surrendered just four hits with the only Warrior run coming unearned in the fourth.
UNOH will host a non-conference doubleheader against Ohio Christian on Tuesday before getting back into WHAC play with a rescheduled twinbill at Concordia on Thursday.
