Softball Sets Program Record with Nine NAIA Scholar-Athletes
KANSAS CITY, MO - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released the list of 2024 Daktronics NAIA Softball Scholar-Athletes. Student-Athletes must have achieved and maintained at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale at their institution, must appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport and must have attended one full year at said institution.
UNOH softball has produced multiple Scholar-Athletes in eight of the last ten seasons putting nine on the list in 2024 to top the program's previous record of six set in 2019 and matched in 2021. This year's honorees also include five repeat winners more than doubling the previous program record (2 - 2017, 2021).
