Three Racers Earn Post Season Honors

FORT WAYNE, IN - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced the 2022-23 Women's Basketball season honors.

Jada Haines picked up her second First Team All-Conference award after leading the league in total points (624) and points per game (21.5), both single season program records. Haines also set the record for field goals made (219) and attempted (543) while becoming just the fourth player in program history to reach the 1,000 point mark, taking over second place in points scored with 1210.

Alysia Lawson picked up Second Team All-Conferece and All-Newcomer Team honors after averaging 13.6 points per game and a program record 38.2 minutes played per game.

Mar Marata Crespo was named to the All-Academic and Champions of Character teams while finishing fifth in the WHAC averaging 7.7 rebounds per game and fourth in program history with 224 total rebounds this season. Marata also became the first Racer to earn a spot on the Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete list since 2017 (Luisa Smith).
