Lawson Earns First WHAC Player of the Week Award

Northwestern Ohio's Alysia Lawson has been named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending November 12. It is the first career POTW week award for Lawson becoming just the second Racer to win the award since the 2018-19 season.

Lawson has helped fuel a potent Racer offense averaging 92 points per game this season. She has scored 20+ points in four of the team's first five games averaging 20.2 per game while shooting 53% from the field and 50% from outside.

Last week, Lawson scored 22 points in both games as UNOH outscored their opponents by an average of 46.5 points in their two wins. She went 9-19 from the field against Miami-Middletown and 10-15 versus Penn State Greater Allegheny to average 56% shooting for the week.
