Women's Basketball Falls at Cornerstone in WHAC Opener

GRAND RAPIDS, MI - UNOH began their conference schedule with an 87-70 loss on the road at Cornerstone.
The Racers played tight with the Golden Eagles for three of the four quarters with just one point separating the teams. The damage came in the second frame when they were outscored 29-13. Despite winning the third 25-22, UNOH couldn't overcome the deficit in the fourth falling 87-70 in the first conference game of the season.
Alysia Lawson finished with a team high 19 points with four steals, two rebounds and one assist. Alycia Patterson hit four of five three points attempts going 6-9 from the field for 16 points. Danae Williams ended with twelve points, three assists and three rebounds.
UNOH will play once more before heading into their Thanksgiving break when they host Concordia on Tuesday, November 21, at 5:30 PM.
