Racers Come up Short against Lourdes

LIMA, OH - UNOH and Lourdes played tight the entire game, but the Gray Wolves got the better of the Racers in the end with a 77-74 win in The Garage.
After opening with 23 points and a five-point lead in the first quarter, UNOH hit a drought in the second scoring just nine and falling behind 34-32 at halftime. The game stayed even through the third and was tied at 72 with just over a minute to play. Lourdes did just enough to keep their noses in front holding on for a three-point win.
Alysia Lawson led all scorers with a season high 26 points shooting 7-11 (64%) from the field and hitting a career high ten of 13 free throw attempts. Alayha Allen finished with a season high 16 points with twelve rebounds for her first career double-double. Olivia Thompson matched her career high with 13 points and Alycia Patterson added eleven.
UNOH shot 47% from the field and a season high 46% from long-range as a team.
The Racers are off a week before hosting Cleary next Saturday, December 9, at 1:00 PM.
