Lawson Bags Her Second POTW Award

Northwestern Ohio's Alysia Lawson has been named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending January 14, her second of the season.

Lawson averaged 27 points per game for the week capped by a career best 29-point performance on Saturday against UM-Dearborn in the team's first home outing since December 12. She shot 53% from the field and 47% from 3-point range playing all 80 minutes.

Lawson has ten 20+ nights in 15 games played and sits second in the league with 21.2 points per game this season.
