ANN ARBOR, MI - UNOH women's basketball saw their three-game winning streak snapped at the hands of Concordia, 62-49, on Wednesday.
The Cardinals jumped out to a 16-4 lead early and the Racers could never close the gap. UNOH cut the lead to just four in the third quarter, but could never get over the hurdle as Concordia chipped away to win by 13.
Alysia Lawson and Alycia Patterson combined to score 43 of 49 points for the Racers. Lawson finished with a game high 24 with three rebounds and two steals. Patterson put up 19 with four rebounds and two steals. Alayha Allen led the team on the boards with eight while becoming the program's single-season block leader with 36 (Molly French/Shatisha Dukes - 34).
UNOH heads to Cleary on Saturday to face the Cougars with a 5:30 PM tip.
