LIMA, OH - UNOH saw a tight game fall apart in the third quarter as Aquinas pulled away and handed the Racers an 87-66 loss.
Both offenses were slow out of the gate and the game stayed tight throughout the first quarter with no more than three points seperating the two. The Saints began the second on a 9-2 run to go up seven, but UNOH pulled things close before the break to make it 33-30 at halftime. Aquinas created some seperation in start the third with a 10-3 run that put them up ten. This time, the Racers couldn't stop the bleeding as the Saints turned a ten-point game into a 22-point game thanks to holding UNOH to scoreless for four minutes of game time while rattling off twelve straight. The Racers played even in the fourth but couldn't get any closer than 16 points to drop their third straight, 87-66.
Alysia Lawson led all scorers with 33 points and a season high eight rebounds. Alycia Patterson scored twelve and Olivia Thompson added ten.
