Lawson Named WHAC Offensive Player of the Week

Northwestern Ohio's Alysia Lawson has been awarded her fifth Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Offensive Player of the Week of the season it was announced Monday. The award breaks Lawson's own single-season record for POTW honors (4) set last season giving her nine for her career.

Lawson was the game's leading scorer in the program's first win at Cornerstone since 2019 and biggest over the Golden Eagles in program history. She shot 45% from the field and 8-9 from the free throw line en route to a 27-point outing, her 14th 20-point performance in 18 games this season. Lawson also grabbed three rebounds and a steal to help UNOH to it's 14th win of the campaign, the program's most in a season since 2014-15.
