Lawson Snares Sixth WHAC POTW Award of the Season
Northwestern Ohio's Alysia Lawson has once again been named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Offensive Player of the Week it was announced Monday. It is Lawson's sixth player of the week honor of the 2024-25 season tying the conference record set in 1995.
Lawson led her Racers to their third consecutive victory with a game high 29 points in a 78-62 victory over Cleary Saturday afternoon, her 15th 20-point performance in 19 games this season. She shot 46% from the field hitting 11-24 attempts while knocking down four three-pointers and going 3-4 at the free throw line. Lawson also added three rebounds, two assists and two steals to her scoreline.
Lawson is second in the country this season averaging 25.4 points per game.
