Lawson Wins Fourth-Straight Offensive POTW Award

For the fourth straight week and eighth time this season, Northwestern Ohio's Alysia Lawson has been voted the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Offensive Player of the Week.

Lawson scored 27 and 25 in her team's two wins last week giving her eight straight 20-point performances and 19 in 23 games this season. She played 77 of 80 minutes shooting 47% from the field while hitting 43% from three-point range and 77% at the free throw line. Lawson also added eight rebounds, six steals and an assist to her weekly total.

The WHAC's leading scorer is just 30 points away from the program's single season scoring record with four regular season games remaining. Lawson's 594 points this season is second in country with a 25.8 per game average.
