Women's Basketball Announces 2025-26 Schedule
LIMA, OH - The Northwestern Ohio women's basketball program has released their full schedule of games for the upcoming 2025-26 campaign. The season will open October 23 and will feature 16 home contests with eleven on road.
For a fourth consecutive season, UNOH will begin the year at home and will play their first five games in The Garage. The Racers will take on Great Lakes Christian for a fourth straight year before renewing a rivalry with Goshen October 29. Bryant & Stratton - Ohio will then visit Lima to begin November in a first ever meeting between the two programs. The second half of a home-and-home with Brescia will take place November 8 and will conclude the early non-conference slate.
Conference play opens at home on November 19 against four-time defending WHAC Regular Season Champion Indiana Tech before back-to-back games on the road. The final four WHAC games of 2025 will trade home and away with a single non-conference contest in the middle against Midway, the first meeting since 2018.
The new year will pit UNOH against Cornerstone at Mol Arena on January 3 followed by two home games against Cleary and UM-Dearborn. Last season's WHAC Tournament Champion Lourdes will bring the Racers to Sylvania on January 14 with the next four games trading home and away. Aquinas will visit UNOH to end January and Madonna opens February in The Garage before Defiance and Cleary host the Racers. Cornerstone and Lourdes wrap up regular season home games February 14 and 18, respectively, as the season concludes on the road at UM-Dearborn.
The WHAC Tournament is scheduled to begin with the Quarterfinals on February 25 with the top eight teams qualifying. The higher seed will host throughout with Semifinals slated for February 27 and the Championship set for March 2.
Along with the varsity schedule, UNOH women's basketball has also announced the 2025-26 Development Team schedule that will consist of 14 games split evenly between home and away with one conference event to open the season.
