UNOH Drops Road Contest at Siena Heights

ADRIAN, MI - The Jekyll and Hyde season continued for women's basketball Wednesday night as they dropped another road matchup, this time at Siena Heights, 75-56.

The offensive production has varied dramatically for the 2025-26 Racers with deep dependency on location. UNOH is averaging almost 80 points per game at home while allowing 67 and earning an impressive 11-2 record. However, those numbers shift dramatically when they hit the road. Their opponents average 79.8 points per game in those away contests while UNOH has put up an average of just 62.5.

Those struggles continued against the Saints despite a competitive first half. Trailing 34-26 coming out of the break, the Racers' put up just seven points in the third as Siena Heights pushed their advantage up to 20 heading into the final quarter. The fourth was the best of the night for UNOH outscoring the Saints 23-22, but the damage was done as the Racers fell to 2-6 on the road this season.

Brooke Asher led the team offensively for the second consecutive game putting up 17 points with four assists, three rebounds, a steal and a block. Olivia Thompson finished with twelve and Alysia Lawson scored eleven. Sanaiiya Gray led on the boards pulling down seven rebounds followed by Huffman's six.

UNOH will hope a return home will improve their results with back-to-back games in The Garage. Aquinas will visit Lima on Saturday, January 31 followed by Madonna on Wednesday.
