Women's Bowling Wins First Ever OBC Championship
COLUMBUS, OH - UNOH women's bowling took to the lanes Saturday for their final conference event of the year with title hopes on the line.
After winning the previous three conference events, the UNOH pulled out a second place finish at the Ohio Bowling Conference #4 to win the first OBC Championship in program history. The JV women's team also pulled out the team championship in the event topping second place Capital by 284 pins.
Olivia Fehlner was named OBC Bowler of the Year as well as MVP taking first place over teammate Mackenzie Wagner. Wagner boasted the title of Varsity High Series and joined Fehlner and Tatum Twining with first team all-conference honors. The JV women placed two on the JV all-conference list, Mackenzie Miller and AJ Organ, with Kylie Carpenter earning the JV High Game and Faith Ford recording the JV High Series.
The No. 3 ranked UNOH women have one more event this season and will head to Indianapolis for the 57th Annual Columbia 300 Hoosier Classic on February 14-15.
