WHAC Names Binyahya Golfer of the Week

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced Northwestern Ohio's Sharifah Binyahya as the first Women's Golfer of the Week this season.

The reigning WHAC Player of the Year picked up an individual medal in her first event of the fall at the UNOH Invitational. In 33-player field, Binyahya was the only golfer to finish under par (-1) after firing a four-under 68 in round one, matching the program record, followed up by a 75 and an even par 72.

It is Binyahya's third career WHAC Golfer of the Week award.
