Binyahya Awarded Record-Setting Fifth Golfer of the Week Honor

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced Monday that Northwestern Ohio's Sharifah Binyahya has been voted the Women's Golfer of the Week for the fifth time this fall, the program's most ever in a single season. For the first time, the award will be shared as Binyahya and Cleary's Jessica Shay scored identical rounds at the Lourdes Fall Finale last Monday.

Binyahya and Shay tied for third with 83 (+11) at the 18-hole event behind two NCAA players. Cleary also lifted the team title with UNOH finishing fifth overall.

Binyahya continues to lead her team averaging 74.30 this fall and now boasts seven career golfer of the week awards.
