Women's Golf Finishes Second at WHAC Championship

AUGUSTA, MI - UNOH women's golf placed second in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Championship Wednesday concluding the 2024-25 season.

The Racers finished 15 strokes behind WHAC Champion Lawrence Tech with a 954 team total after rounds of 327, 313 and 314.

Sharifah Binyahya was the top finisher for UNOH earning a third-place finish with rounds of 77, 71 and 76 for a 224. It is her eighth top five finish in nine events this season and pulls her season average down to 75.57, the lowest in program history (Caitriona Griffin - 75.76).

Kudzai Mandava came in right behind Binyahya carding rounds of 78, 79 and 74 giving her a 231 total, her second top five finish in four events. Kayla Watkins earned her second top ten of the year finishing tenth with a 241 with rounds of 77, 78 and 86. Wayne Trace products Kenadie Daeger and Riley Daeger rounded out the team scoring with a 258 and 296, respectively.
