Women's Soccer Adds All-Ohio Honors

NEW CONCORD, Ohio – The women's soccer program at the University of Northwestern Ohio has added more accomplishments as the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association has released the honorees for the 2016 All-Ohio awards for both academic and athletic achievements during the recent season.

Five Racers were recognized for their performances on the pitch by being named to the 2016 All-Ohio Women's Division II/NAIA Teams. Hannah Baines, Klara Cahynova, and Camilla Andersen all were listed to the First Team while Robyn Moodaly and Evdokia Popadinova made the Second Team.

On the academic side, UNOH placed a pair of student-athletes on the 2016 Academic All-Ohio Women's Division II/NAIA Teams. Laura Blanchard led the way with a First Team nod while Nadine Stonjek added an Honorable Mention recognition.

Stuart Gore was also named the OCSA NAIA Women's Coach of the Year.
