INDIANAPOLIS, IN - UNOH women's soccer faced the NAIA runners-up from 2022 on the road September 13. The No. 4 Marian Knights scored one in the first and one in the second to hand the Racers their second loss of the season 2-0.
The first came in the 32nd minute putting the Knights up 1-0 just before halftime. The score held for 56 minutes before Marian added an insurance goal in the 89th minute to cap off the win.
The Knights had a slight edge in the shot total 10-7 but put five on goal to just two for the Racers.
Sohpia Eisner (2-1-0) made three saves in her return from injury taking the first loss of her career.
UNOH heads to No. 2 Spring Arbor on Saturday, September 16, for a night game against the defending national champions. Kickoff scheduled for 7:00 PM.
