ADRIAN, MI - Two first half goals spoiled the first conference game of the season for UNOH, falling 2-1 on the road at undefeated Siena Heights.
The Saints put their first shot of the match in the back of the net taking a 1-0 lead in the 15th minute. The eventual game winner came in the 34th putting Siena Heights up 2-0 at halftime. The Racers continued to fight in the second half, with Patricia Gomez Nogueras breaking through, unassisted, in the 76th minute. UNOH didn't get another shot off through the final 14 minutes taking a 2-1 loss in the conference opener.
Sophia Eisner (2-3-0) took the loss with three saves over the 90 minutes of work in front of net.
UNOH will try to snap a three-game skid when they host Lourdes Wednesday, September 27, at 4:00 PM.
