Women's Soccer Earns Scoreless Draw at No. 4 Aquinas

GRAND RAPIDS, MI - UNOH women's soccer picked up their third consecutive clean sheet holding No. 4 Aquinas scoreless in a 0-0 draw.

The Racers were on attack early putting five of eight total shots on goal in the first half compared to five and two for the Saints. Shots were even in the second half with UNOH putting four of the their five on goal. The final results were the same, however, with neither team able to net the ball through 90 minutes. 

The Racers finished with 13 total shots with nine on goal giving up ten and five. 

Mireia Queralt (4-1-2) continued her strong play in front of goal bagging her third straight clean sheet and fourth of the season with five saves in the match.

It is the first result for the Racers against a ranked opponent since week one of the 2021 season in a 1-1 tie against No. 24 Cardinal Stritch and the first top five result since a 1-0 win against No. 3 Sourtheastern on September 21, 2019.

UNOH returns home to take on last place Cleary on Wednesday, October 11. Kickoff scheduled for 4:00 PM.
