Women's Soccer Clean Sheets Lawrence Tech

LIMA, OH - UNOH women's soccer used three second half goals to muscle past Lawrence Tech on Saturday, winning 3-0 for their fifth consecutive shutout.

The two teams played more that 50 minutes of scoreless soccer before UNOH finally exploded for three in a three minute span. The first came in the 55th minute after a keeper error set up an indirect free kick for the Racers from the left side of the penalty box. Minni Laukka rolled the ball out to Nanna Rosengreen who beat four defenders and the keeper by keeping the ball on the ground just inside the near post.

Just 55 seconds later, UNOH struck again after Rosengreen worked to win the ball off a Blue Devil throw in playing it to Natalia Lima. Lima passed from right to left across the box on the ground to Mathilda Berg Karlsson. Karlsson turned and sent the ball back to the top of the box to Laukka on the run who rolled it across a diving keeper's face and into the bottom corner.

After the Racers won a corner two minutes later, they notched a third time from the corner kick after it took several deflections and redirections before landing at the left foot of Katie West who poked it into the back of the net.

Sophia Eisner (9-3-3) earned the win after 66 minutes in front of goal but was needed to make just one save on the only Lawrence Tech shot of the game. Silje Eikeland finished the final 24 minutes without a save.

With just one game left in the regular season, No 25 UNOH will try to complete their first double-digit win season in conference play since 2019 when Cleary visits Racer Stadium on Wednesday, October 30.
