Seven All-Conference Selections Highlight Women's Soccer Honors

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced the 2024 women's soccer season honors. UNOH boasts the WHAC's Newcomer of the Year with Seven Racers highlighting the all-conference teams and twelve earning All-Academic honors.

Senior transfer Natalia Lima was named Newcomer of the Year and also picked up First Team All-WHAC honors with her team leading 28 points scoring ten goals and assisting eight times. Minni Laukka and Sophia Eisner both landed on the first team for the first time with Janne Esther Frauenpreiss picking up her second first team award.

Vivian Purmonen finished the regular season second on the team with 20 points scoring nine times and assisting twice earning second team honors for the second year joined by Freshman Mathilda Berg Karlsson. Junior transfer Judy McIntosh rounded out the all-conference awards with an All-Newcomer team selection and Sienna Alexander was the team's Champions of Character representative.

Janne Frauenpreiss added her third career All-Academic honor to her resume with six picking up their second: Minni Laukka, Nanna Rosengreen, Jasmin Tadina, Allyson Barger, Hannah Brookfield and Ava Stanisic. Five earned a spot for the first time: Sophia Eisner, Rhiannon O'Looney, Vivian PurmonenAnne Sjolte and Gudrun Pala Arnadottir.
