Cetina Voted WHAC Player of the Week

Northwestern Ohio's Ana Cetina has been named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Player of the Week for the first time in her career.

Cetina had one of her strongest weeks of the season winning all three doubles matches while going 2-1 in singles. Her only loss of the week came against NCAA Division I Butler in singles after winning her No. 2 doubles matchup 6-4 alongside teammate Munisa Ashurbekova. Cetina also logged wins in No. 3 doubles (6-1) and No. 4 singles (6-1, 6-2) against No. 20 Marian last week. She capped the week with two more wins at Lawrence Tech on Saturday as the Racers clinched at least a share of the regular season title for the first time since 2019. UNOH won 6-1 with Cetina taking No. 2 doubles 6-1 with Ashurbekova and No. 4 singles 6-1, 6-3.
